Story

Some of us when still be playing games on the previous generation of xbox one 360, and if that is the case some of us may be experiencing the ring of death problem on your console; which is when you turn it on yet nothing displays on the screen.

Not everyone will be moving on when problems begin to appear on your xbox 360 console, for those of you needing to keep your console due to you are not a heavy gamer; repairing the ring of death may just be what you need to keep playing your xbox 360 console.

The repair on the xbox 360 console is not that complicated really, is more so when trying to open the console than actually repairing it; what’s basically happening is that overtime the console will buildup dust inside the components causing the cooling system to get clogged up.

Due to the cooling fan not being able to rotate as required, it may be causing it to alter the basic power on; and in doing so you hear it turn on but it just sits there with no picture actually showing on your screen.

You do have the option to open your xbox 360 for repair if you wish to save money on buying a new console like the xbox one s let say being your next level up console at the lowest price point, but if you dare to open the xbox one 360 console like I did for this customer then go ahead and save yourself some money; consider keeping the xbox 360 console if you are a basic gamer and more so if you have games with your console so repairs may be an affordable option.

Should you choose to open the xbox one 360 console to begin the repairs of what is known as the ring of death, start with powering the console completely off and remove the power cable as well as all connected cables; then proceed with removing the screws holding the top and bottom covers together.

When you have successfully removed all screws, you will need to snap them top and bottom off each other carefully so you do not damage the product; as shown on my video you will see how I used my hands to calmly separate the two.

When you are inside the xbox 360 console, you now want to remove as much of the dust from the inside you can as possible, and do so more on the fan areas as well as the boards; take advantage of being inside the 360 console to clean it up as much as you can for long term maintenance service.
