STORY

The introduction of the EA Desktop brought back a lot of Community features for gamers looking for a more intuitive alternative from the original app known as origin.

You now have the option to connect other gaming communities like steam and xbox even playstation to the ea desktop application in the effort to help you find friends easier.

EA Desktop gives you several choices that is influence by games and players alike with the ability to purchase games right from the application to even watch video content relate to those games without ever leaving the community.

EA Desktop introduces the my collections tab where all your owned games are stored at which is separated by the browse tab which is where you would go to find new games you do not own.

When the EA Desktop BETA VERSION launched it excited the upcoming idea of a new Electronic Arts Community experience in an all in one application that was powered by content with the options to manage your own account to the games you own to downloading and installing options was just the beginning.

At the time of the Beta version not all games were supported in the EA Desktop community, but as Electronic Arts continued to develop the application further it became more important to most players using the beta version even myself and now that the more complete version is out the community app tends to be much more solid.
